Justin and I met through a mutual friend in January 2019 while I was visiting Colorado. We were introduced, hit it off immediately, and quickly discovered a shared passion for aviation—especially when Justin casually mentioned that he was a pilot. Our conversation lasted for hours, and eventually I had to break the news that I had a red-eye flight to catch that night.

Justin offered to take me to the airport. I appreciated the offer but explained that my flight was late and I planned to grab an Uber instead. Perfectly timed, he mentioned that he also drove for Uber. So, naturally, our conversation continued all the way to the airport, still centered around aviation, travel, and everything in between. When we arrived, he insisted on getting my phone number so we could stay in touch.

Seven years later, our journey together continues. Our shared love of travel has taken us by planes, trains, and automobiles through 14 states and 10 countries around the world together. We’ve loved every moment of it, and we’re incredibly grateful for the love and support of our amazing friends and family along the way.

Last summer, we took an unforgettable Greek Isles cruise with my family and Justin’s mom. With our loved ones nearby, it felt like the perfect opportunity to take the next step. I spent months planning the perfect place to propose in Mykonos. It was a beautiful, emotional moment—made even more special when, just ten minutes later, Justin surprised me with a ring of his own. He had been planning to propose at the exact same place, on the very same day.

We are beyond excited to spend our lives together. Our love continues to grow, and even after all these years, we’re still discovering new things about each other. Did you know Justin loves hot pot, beef noodles, and boba tea?
